What this policy covers

This policy applies to MeasureShift’s Android and iOS apps. It supplements Appivora’s company-wide Privacy Policy and describes MeasureShift-specific processing.

Information processed on your device

Values you enter, selected units, calculation results, search text, recent categories, favorites, and appearance preferences are processed locally. Favorites and preferences stay on your device. MeasureShift does not upload entered values, search text, favorites, or clipboard contents. A result is written to the clipboard only when you choose Copy.

Currency and time-zone data

The mobile apps may request published currency-rate and time-zone datasets through Cloudflare. Those requests can expose standard network and delivery information to the hosting provider. Downloaded datasets are cached on your device; entered conversion values are not included.

Optional interaction analytics

Some mobile versions use Firebase Analytics to understand completed interactions. Events may describe a screen, converter or category, unit role, favorite action, copy request, or appearance choice. We do not intentionally send entered values, search text, clipboard contents, passwords, filenames, raw error messages, advertising identifiers, or personal/user identifiers. You can disable analytics in Settings → Share interaction analytics where that control is available. The website does not currently send these interaction events.

Crash reports

Production Android and iOS builds use Firebase Crashlytics to diagnose stability problems. Reports may include stack traces, app version, operating-system and device information, crash time, and technical identifiers generated by Firebase. Development builds disable crash reporting. We do not intentionally add conversion values, search text, clipboard contents, or favorites to crash reports.

Service providers

Cloudflare supports website and dataset delivery; Google Firebase supports optional mobile analytics and production crash diagnostics; Apple and Google may process information when distributing the apps through their stores. Providers operate under their own terms and privacy policies and may process information internationally. MeasureShift does not sell personal information or display ads.

Retention, security, and your rights

Local preferences, favorites, and cached datasets remain until you clear app data or uninstall. Provider-held operational, analytics, and crash data follow configured retention periods, provider terms, and legal/security requirements. Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection, or withdraw consent. We may verify identity before responding.
